We were puzzle pieces
Fitting so close
But that has vanished
I hate you the most

Every day you could say you loved me
But I knew it wasn’t true
Don’t give me that weak smile
Don’t take me as a fool

Even when you hugged me tight
I knew he was in your heart
Give me that stupid look ‘til night
No damn difference, we must depart

I never belonged with you
You never belonged with me
Go off to your never-neverland
In the arms of he

Don’t chase me here
With your tears
Go fly away
It’d make my day

Forget all our memories
Break all our promises
Go back to your place
Wash your mouth of our kisses

Say the love had stopped
I couldn’t care
But just letting you know
It was never there

Never There

You illustrated in my mind the pain of a broken heart. Nicely written.
