This photo was taken from the western shore of Gili Trawangan, one of three small islands on the North West side of Lombok, Indonesia. While Bali cannot be seen from the Gili Islands Mount Agung (or Gunung Agung), a stratovolcano and the highest point on the island of Bali, seems to rise over the ocean horizon as the sun falls behind Agung. It dominates the surrounding area influencing the climate and culture.
