This large female Huntsman spider (probably Isopeda vasta or Heteropoda jugulans) aged me by 10 years when it ran up my arm, neck and head, while I was rummaging through my shed, before I brushed it off. I quickly covered it in a plastic container, waited for it to calm down before lifting the lid and sneaking in for a close macro. Low and behold the bloody thing ran up my camera, arm and head again as soon as the shutter went off. I’m lucky to still have the camera in one peace!!!
Where’s a wasp when you need one????
PS No spiders were harmed in the taking of this shot!
