  • You probably can’t see this properly at this size but the spider had a long white "something hanging down from the left (spiders left) side of the abdomen. I couldn’t tell if it was part of the spider or a parasite of some type!!!? I only noticed when I zoomed in. Thanks again for looking.

    great shot i love these spiders it wasnt web hanging out of it was it there constantly doing repairs they usually have little red quiksilver spiders in there webs to keep a bit of order and cleanliness
    i have a few shots in my art if youd like to check em out

  • I’ve been having a good look at your work. Crazy stuff there (thats meant as a compliment). I understand your comment about the little quicksilver’s, I’ve also seen the tiny males gambling life and limb. In this photo there is a soft white appendage hanging from the abdomen to the start of the front left leg, it seemed “fleshy” and alive!!?
