we’re standing still besides the stones…
stones from a wall on staney hill,
where i listened to first skylark.

    In 1848 my G.G.Grandmother left Donegal in Ireland to escape the Great Famine, by emigrating to Australia.
    This reminds me of the surrounding countryside where she came from.
    ( even though it’s not Ireland )
