warp power

a hundred light yarns away,

story began on blue planet where a Divine sat on its edge
and taught the world he created to celebrate life, light, gardens instead of hate…

what have we done to apple trees?

so we started to weave
fibres around a wheel we called power…
may he’s still listening somewhere upstairs among the realm of stratosphere.

am still waiting in a corner of crofter’s lodge…

Love the perspective and the wonderful presentation dear Nat, a wonderful way to celebrate the ancient crofters spinning and weaving arts, giving them a most surreal and futuristic appearance, wonderful work my friend,
    Regards, Rod.

  • NordicBlackbird replied

Thank you very kindly, dear Rod :))).
In this one, i attempted to bring the “old machine” into the 21st century and had in mind that very brief moment the image of Star Trek “The Final Frontier” shot of starship Entreprise sce3ne with Kirk, Spok and the good doctor by the ship’s initial helm… Looking back at my spinning wheel, i imagine it in deep space… i ken, am a dreamer, lolll!
    Kindest regards, xoxo
