Kira at the Rocks at the forks
This photo was taken at a very interesting tourist attraction in winnipeg, Mb. It is called the forks where the Red and Assinaboine river meet and was a gathering place for the First Nations people. There are carvings in some of the rocks and I would like to produce a painting with the image of my granddaughter somehow emerging from the beauty of the textured rock speaking of life and liveliness, youth and hope.

You would almost come to believe this rock is a soft pillow – a source of comfort to my grandaughter
