Early morning at Byron Bay, Australia. I was hoping for some sunrise shots, but as the clouds moved in before dawn I turned the camera west instead. The surfers seemed so small and insignificant against this view.Canon EOS 400DTamron 18-270mm lens

Timing’s everything, Jordan! :-))
Well thankyou for your vigilance! Glad you like it….took this last year and have been sitting on it (and others) for too long.
I love a good storm.
Hi Donna! You can’t sleep either? The turned out better than I thought! Thankyou for the fave and lovely comment.
Excellent work Jordan..cheers.
Thankyou Warren. It takes me longer to process and post these shots than my Street Photography. Glad you like it.
A big thanks for the fave too!

Hi Matt. Thanks for popping in and leaving a comment!
beautiful capture Jordan – lovely shot – taken looking north I dare say??
Facing west, as I was out on the viewing platform on the way to the point but still protected from on shore winds. Still fairly windy despite the water not being churned up yet.
Look at that sky,,,,wonderful brooding mood captured Jordan :)
Thankyou Trish, for both the lovely comment and fave!
