BI POLAR

Bi Polar belongs in my 2009 antholgy, SANDCASTLES

BI POLAR belongs to the following groups:

Live, Love, Dream: , Up & Coming Writers and WMG

Celluloid stretching
against the
sugared child light
that smiles inside
me
island time
nursery rhyme
onion soup is good with thyme

Seventy score receding
pooling honey glints
inside me
depression low
sharp edged jaw
mastication sticks matter in my craw

Dissolved in this morass
swept up and away
blinding sulphur flash
ozoned out
summer high
lady bird, four-spot, fly
colours emboldened by the glint in my eye

Time-matter-space
conundrum
placate me, please.

I can really get into this one Ian….I know people with bipolar and you caught the emotion perfectly. Well done….

Tanks my friend! Show it to them, see where they agree and disagree. Bi – polar is such a general diagnosis!

Oh yes, and this is why I wouldn’t want to lose it (the bi-p that is!) (I lose ‘it’ regularly!!) – the intensity, the colours, sounds, rhymes …. great stuff x

  • noinvisiblehand replied

Ah, but retrospectively, those high moments when you think you are pure genius can prove rather pedestrian!

Onion soup would be good (better) with thyme… thank you for the suggestion.

  • noinvisiblehand replied

And you ought to know, Sam, that it was your blog which gave me the line. Thank you so very much, you American South African!
