Rock, Paper...Obama
I like to admit i have hope in the changes taking place in America.
I normally don’t align so politically like this, but here i feel it is due. Truth be told only time will tell if one man can bring all the embodied hopes for positive changes to an entire nation without too much compromise. I admit to normally being the first to use america as a symbol of excess. But here i see a symbol of success…and where there is hope i see fit to encourage it.
And that was a great quote!

i do agree…am reserving full judgement until he really puts action into his words, however, it would seem to be a glimmer of hope for a very troubled, dysfunctional and unfair “free-world” order.

Roger…I know normally a poli has a writer, but i was thinking they might have got a poet to work for them. Which i feel they may of…by the fact that in the celebration straight afterwards they had one(i didn’t catch her name) read a poem. So you may be right…that they would. ;)

I absolutely love that quote. I watched it live (Yes, I feel like a freaking grown up, staying up to watch a historical event!) and my eyes welled up with tears when he said it. I have a revived belief that change for the better is eminent. I hope that with Obama’s guidance, I may one day be able to go back to Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) and see where my father grew up.
