For those of you who may remember the feature by Danny on ‘No Frills Art’ in the bubblewrap a while back. Here is the outcome of the button badge project ‘I know my place’ mentioned in the interview, which I coordinated with artist David Dellafiora.

It ended up producing some 700 artist designed badges which were handed out free at four community events and festivals late in 2007. There were seven artists coming from; Geelong(x3), Melbourne, Ballarat, Sydney and one from the UK. (Three of the artists are here on the bubble… nonstop , jaclynpoole and myself). Each artist gave a different meaning to idea of ‘place’ in this project. A documentation edition of 65 cases was made to give the project a life beyond the performances. Oh…and yes those are red bubble tees the artists are wearing!
