This image is special to me, because if you look near the driftwood, you’ll see a bench, and you;ll also see my dearly departed Mother sitting on that bench. That was the last day of the last camping trip we took before her passing.

    Outstanding work, Megan!
You know Crisp point is one of my fave places. Is it still really hard to get to? It looks like it’s a more popular place now. I see benches and a walkway that I don’t recall. Now that I think about it, maybe I was just at the place called Crisp Point and not the actual light house I visited. It was many years ago.

  • Thank you Bobbi! Yes, Crisp Point is still pretty hard to get to. The road conditions aren’t as bad, but it is still a long, bumpy trail. They have made vast improvements to the lighthouse site. They have been restoring it for quite sometime. Since the very first time I visited, they have planted trees and grasses, rebuilt the lightkeeper’s quarters on the lighthouse, put in new pathways, benches, and picnic tables, and their latest addition is a new bathroom!
