Paul has been serious about talking pictures since he was young. By the age of 17, he had his own 35mm SLR camera and was shooting everything including birds, landscapes and people. In high school, he worked in the darkroom to get experience in developing black and white photographs.
Paul has worked for many years in the computer industry providing customer support and design. He utilized his photographic eye as he created websites, but he felt a strong need to get a camera back into his hands.
In 2005, Paul started driving commercially across the country and saw many photo opportunities. He gave up driving professionally two years later to be closer to his family. Now, Paul and his wife experience traveling together as much as possible, all the while recording it through the camera’s eye.
When not traveling, Paul and his wife reside in Largo, Florida. The West Coast of Florida offers beautiful sunsets, many county and state parks, great landscapes and urban photo locations. Most of Paul’s photography is captured on location using natural lighting and environments, to achieve a more spontaneous feel to his art.
