The calendar says Maine’s winter shouldn’t arrive for another week or so, but the view outside my window says it’s here, and here to stay. My aching back says it’s here too, the weather man told us to expect 1 to 2 inches of snow when we woke up yesterday morning, it turned out to be 11 to 12 inches of fresh snow. It was really a winter wonderland, and once I shoveled myself out I headed out to take some winter photos. As usual I wasn’t disappointed nature always provides a whole new landscape after every snow storm.
