Double Beauty
I shot this image today 11/28/08 at 2:00 in the afternoon…...I have never in my entire life seen a double blossom….and here in my own rose garden is a Double Beauty .........I have edited out some unsightly background and improved on the lighting just a tad….I hope you all enjoy this as much as I!

you’ve really and truly found something magical … soooo unusual … my goodness, where are you that you’re getting roses … OH … heavens … must be australia?? Of course … silly me!! well, you grow magnificent roses down under, that’s for sure!!! and you also grow extraordinary photographers as well!!

OHHHHHHH I really love this one. You are amazing when it comes to flower captures. You have the touch and looks like a green thumb. Roses are so hard to grow. They take lots of time and tlc. This shows every bit of love.

ooo … lucky you, then … I used to grow roses and several of my best rose books were written by growers where you are … you must have wonderful conditions!!

Normaly by now we have had a lot of rain and sometimes even a bit of snow…...today it is supporsed to be 72…..I love this wonderful weather, but we are in a drought and desperately need the rain….my roses don’t know for sure what to do…....I appreciate your awesome comments Lois!

Hi rosy, thank you so much…........I wish I had dried it or something…anyway I’m keeping everything crossed that this won’t be the last…......the plant is really old, very thorny and gnarly…....maybe that had something to do with it… ?
