I shot this image in June of this year, 2008…....I was surprised in all my trips to the Monterey Peninsula here in CA, that I had never seen this…......I hope you enjoy, and remember this great artist and his love of life!

Hey Joyce, I watched that PBS special the other day on our boy and it was a nice tribute and reminder of a kindred spirit of God and nature. He will be surely missed in these times and unfortunately maybe misunderstood, and appreciated. Thanks for reminding us all!

poor john left too soon air planes seem to be such a trap for so many music stars and the smaller the more dangerous off and on i,ll hear him on youtube and yes give a good cry for him and his music, i had all his records when my kids wee small, boy is your ever in a mood? to be moved go seek him out on a day alone at home and feel the life in you that saids i am here and alive and sad and happy too,nice reminder joyce i was once up 11,000 feet in clorado and thought of him, his voice blowing across the mountains rocky mt.home now far far away for him

I do too Helen…..I will always visit this spot when I am on the Peninsula…....I get goosebumps evertime I hear one of his songs…..so much love in that young man….I’m sure he is with us all in spirit!!!
