Hi Joyce. What a beautiful shot of this orange rose, nicely set off by the delicate rain drops. There is good depth of field within the flower, and good seperation from the background!
Thanks for your recent informative and encouraging critique!

I heard on a fashion show that this color (or something very close to it) is the hue which is universally the most flattering on women! That being you case, every gal out there ought to buy this photo and pin it up on her dressing table as a reminder of what will work best in her wardrobe! All that aside, Joyce, it’s a lovely rose and a LOVELY image! I am always in awe of people who know how to get the whole flower in focus! Mine are always semi-fuzzy and look like day old blossoms, wilted and faded. Your image is crisp and fresh! Do you give pointers or lesson? I’m all ears!

Bonnie you are tooooo kind; I think yours are just beautiful! Mine are often after many shots and I pick the best one….........I often try different settings and then when viewing them on the pc, I will delete those which I am not happy with….....nothing any different from anyone else…......I am fond of the Macro setting though which I tend to use on any close up…...........Thanks again Bonnie you have found a place in my heart!
