Sunrise 07 11 08

This shot was taken less than a minute from Simplicity; I couldn’t believe how rapidly the sun was changing. This was of course all due to the thick smoke in the air; the wind blew all night, and the fires grew very quickly. The fire nearest to us grew by 8,000 acres over night and now is more than 35,000.

I used to live in Redding, California. I went to Shasta College. I have family in Northern California, Marysville, Yuba City, Oroville and all around there. I have been praying that these fires would be out soon. Hope you are able to breath in this situation. God bless and take care. Great shot.
