Cool water… a true “bubbling brook”… the Rio Pueblo de Taos runs gently down the Rio Grande Rift to meet up with the venerable Rio Grande about a mile from the location of this scene.
Taken from the Bureau of Land Management hiking trail through this remote part of the Rio Grande Rift between Taos and Pilar, New Mexico, US. The sky had smoke from the distant Los Alamos fire that gives that hazy feel to the distant rift wall.
