This is an experimental image for me… it’s comprised of 18 images shot at differing ISO’s and exposures using 6 sets of three bracketed images on my Canon 5D MK II. My HDR’s are normally comprised of three shots- so this is quite a departure from my normal process, and it yielded an interesting and intense result.
The composition is edited in Aperture with the Photomatix plugin. The clouds are influenced by the distant hurricane Irene, over 200 miles away. This shot is taken at the edge of Miami, Florida, looking out over Everglades National Park. I hope you enjoy it!

I’m a Miami, Florida-based photographer. I and my camera try to get out as often as possible. These images are the result. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
If you like my images enough to buy them, please know that the income goes back into the art. Thanks for visiting!
