A view from old Miami… This is a restored EAL DC-7B with its original Eastern Airlines markings. The aircraft was first delivered to Eastern Airlines in 1958. This plane currently resides at Opalocka airport in Miami, Florida, and has been approved by the FAA to resume passenger service for “historical flights” by The Historical Flight Foundation. This plane is unique in that this aircraft represents the only U.S. based, four engine, passenger prop-liner in operation today.
