Looks like a beautiful day for a flight off into the wild blue yonder! And, this plane is inviting us in with it’s open door and stairs at the ready!
This is a restored EAL DC-7B with its original Eastern Airlines markings. The aircraft was first delivered to Eastern Airlines in 1958. This plane currently resides at Opalocka airport in Miami, Florida, and has been approved by the FAA to resume passenger service for “historical flights” by The Historical Flight Foundation. This plane is unique in that this aircraft represents the only U.S. based, four engine, passenger prop-liner in operation today.
Please see my other images of this marvelous aircraft:

Very creative, wonderful concept
Thanks… this plane is such a wonderful and patient subject! I’ve been looking for a day such as this for quite a while, and the sun cooperated so well (yes, the glint off the windshield is quite deliberate!).
