Taken from the back woods behind a row of houses in Westerville Ohio, USA, clearing pathways of snow is a regular and very cold activity. This is shot over the Christmas break in 2012. One of a series of everyday life shots I’m working on. Hope you enjoy!

The “model” is my father-in-law, bundled up from the cold. Taken at the family home in Ohio.

Canon 5D, MK II, Tamron 28-300 VC @260mm, single exposure ISO2500 (low light) f/8 1/400. taken to B&W in Aperture.
