Neville, that is beautiful, well done. The patch of light on the building is just magic.
Thanks Odille. Fortunately the clouds were moving along fairly nicely, so I didn’t have to wait more than 30 minutes for that patch of sunshine to light the house just right.

Stunning image of an Icon… got to get there..
beautiful place great composition and colors
Birthplace of the Burra charter on architectural conservation. Lovely shot Neville, wonderful open feeling under a heavy sky.
Really? I’ve not heard of the Charter (but have now looked it up)

Lovely sense of space and time. Nicely done.
Lovely shot!
Nice shot mate of the Burra Homestead, Richard and I were just out there the other day getting snaps. Love the Drama in the sky mate :) The field used to be so much better, but now it’s not looked after anymore and looks really bad. It’s such a shame for such a famous spot :(
This was late November last year and there were sheep in the feild, keeping it trim.

Love it Neville. Graydon
the wide and open space has been captured perfectly
Great shot Neville. I recognised the building and now realise what an opportunity I missed by taking my shots from the roadside and not wandering across the paddock for some better angles. Maybe next time. I have a couple of Burra shots here.
:-) Nice work over on your site Dash. Particularly great shot of the forked tongue of the Goanna. BTW my shots were taken from outside the property. It appears that the house has become so photo-popular that the owner has erected signs barring trespassers.
