These exquisite images are reminiscent of Mapplethorpe’s flawless flower images of the 80’s but different enough to deserve credibility of their own. Each flower is captured in black and white, intimately drawing the viewer into the image and displaying a visual sensuality that only nature can give. Nathan J Lester has ensured that the texture of each individual flower is evident in the image thus bringing the viewer to a new level of experience, an experience where you feel you could almost touch the flower.
