About me
AP-degree in Multimedia Design and Communication, Copenhagen Technical Academy 2007.
I’m making art-generators – with intaractive and random elements…
I’ve worked with acrylic-pantings, video-art and music for many years, but as a sideresult of developing small computergames and applications for the internet, I’ve started making this art-generator thing.

You can listen to my music here, as well as try out a simple art-generator that I’ve added.
Art vs Art-genrators
I believe that art can be many things …
But where is the limit then – You’ve seen artists thru the 70’s that randomly threw paint on their canvas and called it art ….
I woun’t be the judge in that matter, as I have no education in judging art.
But I also think it’s art, when you let the user interact with your piece – limited by a set of rules made by you – the author…
This thought is a bit provocating as some could claim that the authors of i.ex photoshop should be artists as they actualy lets the user interact with their code. I will reject this, because of the fact that photoshop, almost has the same limitation as the real canvas and paintbrushes… meaning no :-)....
In my work with code-generated art I’ve also found that if you let the code be totaly random, you will end up with a board of noise – but if you then add some rules to the random proces, you will suddenly get an expresion.
White noise or generative art?
Try setting the random factor to 1, the number of layers aloud to 40000 – make a cup of coffe and you will get “white noise”.... ;-)
If anyone has comments on the subject I would be pleased to hear from you…
Have a nice browse :-)
