How Do You Photograph a Hug?
There are a few people in this world that can do hugs really really well – Paul Lois Villani is one of them as many can testify. His hugs come from an unconditional warmth and generosity – when it came to modelling my concept there wasn’t a moments hesitation on his part.
I had been thinking for a while of how I could capture one of his famous hugs with a camera. Then two things happened:
- a post-it note challenge came along and added a little spark to my creativity – it’s always nice to see a challenge that lets you get out and try something creative and new. In this respect a pile of pink post-it note hearts and some darkness was all I needed to realise a vision.
- a small band of people who’s fascination with the urban night environment who have decreed that Tuesdays are some of the best days of the week. Please watch them for what will be some wonderful images appearing in the future.
In the mean time enjoy This Much Love
