I took this photo in 2011 while in Portland – looking out onto a valley as I stood under a tall, old pine tree. Maybe it’s the shades of green, or the way the sunlight illuminates the pine needles, but this photo always has a vintage vibe for me.
I am witty and sharp, a snowclone maker, a really bad data point, and a renaissance woman and dilettante. I taught myself knitting and jewelry making off of the Internet (and people wear and love my work). I sometimes spontaneously talk in Frenglish (and sometimes actually in French). I’ve been drawing trees since grade school.
