Instamatics!
So I went to the Emerald Fete on Saturday, and I bought me 2 instamatics, a 25 and a 33. Both in good condition, with the original cases, for $1 each. However, the one cartridge of 126 film that came with them is full, with photos that aren’t mine. I want to get it developed, and I want more film, so if anyone in the Melbourne area can tell me who develops 126 film still, and if you want to sell me some more, let me know.
Also, I shot my first TTV shot with the 25. It came out alright, except for the bad lighting and all, but it could be a lot better. I’m not really sure how to get a good focus, or if I can, or how it all works.

Instamatics are go! I don’t know were you would get it developed in Melbourne but if you find out and are really gagging for a bit of film I may be able to scrap a couple of really seriously out of date rolls up and send them to you. Only colour though I’ve already used up all the B/W stock I had. And that stuff had expired in 1982! Was still pretty good though. Got some great shots with it. Had to process it myself and that was a tad tricky but worth the effort.

Seriously? That would be awesome! Thanks a heap.

I found a printing/camera shop in the City that sells kodak brand old-style instamatic film and develops it. Its down a little side alley next to a antique shop. Its hella expensive though, a roll is like $30.
Its not far from the Australia Arcade near the shop I buy my all-stars from.
Bryan Davidson
Dyaaaah… $30 is hyper-rip-off. You’ll have to show me on Sunday.
Gordon MacK
No worries. Yer I thought it was a bit expensive myself.
