I honestly do not know what inspired me to do this piece…it is just so surreal…I can’t explain it…

It’s BEAUTIFUL,Christina!!! ~Sean
thank you Sean…I am glad you think so. :-) xoxoxo
You’re welcome,Christina! :)
This is the 2nd time today I’ve seen a feminine figure with the extended neck. I’m not sure what to make of it, except I gives a sense of strength to the subject. Can you speak to how you view this ?
I think it is just canonical. Although you are right when you say it adds strength to the figure. A bit of a regalness I like to exaggerate with the feminine long neck. Females already are seen as having long, thin, graceful necks. I just wanted to exaggerate this feature to accentuate the femininity of these pieces…usually when I see extended necks (especially in ancient art) I automatically see an innate appreciation of the female form and it’s graceful aesthetic qualities….
Thank you. Regalness, yes, that’s quite right in what is here. The extended neck line does accentuate the grace of the feminine form. Very good. thanks.
You are very welcome Ken. :-) xoxo
