Young Australian artist Nikki Butlin, is a versatile contemporary artist working and experimenting with various mediums.
Her most widely used medium is acrylic used with impasto, however, ceramic art and collage are a close second.
Nikki’s paintings are currently in private collections in Canberra and the South cost and she accepts commissions for original work.
“For as long as I can remember, I have been painting, drawing and using clay. I completed a double major in ceramics and a major in fine arts at Narrabundah collage in Canberra. I was accepted by the ANU School of art Ceramics department but chose to undertake a degree in Architecture at the University of Canberra as an alternative.
I have just completed my degree in architecture and intent to undertake my masters this Year.
Finding time for Art is always a challenge, but i believe if its your passion you will always find time.”
