The Tempest by nightsparklies

Currently unavailable for purchase

Acrylic paint, painted with palette knives. Poem by me.

A little poem for the beautiful dragon:

Looking at the sky
tumbling up and down like a shaken leaf
the wind was stirring madly
and there she came, breaking all the clouds and heavens apart
like flesh and claw and blood, the smoke rising from her scales
Looking at the sky
we lifted and fell like rocks in a hurricane
the wind was stirring madly
and there she came, breaking through every wonderful nightmare
like flesh and claw and blood, the smoke rising from her scales
And from there on
her wings spreading like peacock feathers
the wind stirring our hearts
and down upon us she descended like the most beautiful storm
like flesh and claw and blood, the smoke rising from her scales
