standing against the window
i wait for my lover to call
doesnt seem all that long ago
when we were together , enthrawled in passion
she’s simply fantastic in every way
reality
not dream

but reality bites doesnt it ?
maybe this is a dream
but i felt love

we made love
we ARE love
birds are singing as i wait
is that a sign ?
or is it a song i don’t sing
she’ll call in a minute or so
she’s probably busy
i should be , but i wait
by the window

am i dreaming ?
