An old typewriter in The Secret Neuclear Bunker, Essex, UK.
The Secret Neuclear Bunker is an underground nerve centre built to protect politicians and important people in the event of neuclear attack. It is built on a farmers land and the entrance looks like a bungalow. Inside a long tunnel which would’ve been guarded by troops when active, leads into a labyrinth of tunnels where up to several hundred people could live until radiation levels were safe. Quite what the world would’ve looked like when they emerged is thankfully anybodies guess. It is now de-commissioned and you can walk round it. It is really eerie as it looks as though everyone just got up and left one day, leaving everything as it was. It is quite funny to see signs that say, this way to The Secret Neuclear Bunker.
