GREAT SHOT NIGEL!! A TRULY WONDERFUL AIRCRAFT THAT TOGETHER WITH THE BRAVE, BRILLIANT PILOTS WHO FLEW THEM, HELPED TO SAVE BRITAIN AND TURN THE TIDE OF WAR! AN ICONIC DESIGN!! BRAVO!!!

I’M MALTESE! HOW WE APPRECIATED THE ROLE OF SPITFIRES DURING THE WAR YEARS!!!

  • I can imagine, my dad used to watch them turn doodle-bugs back at Dungeness in Kent, so they didn’t reach London. This one has a shield on the nose which apparently is a Polish squadron.
