I know this road – - – There’s something to be said for old, old churches – - – It says – Remodel!!! – Clean it up!! – Ha! So many old churches are too Gothic and U’ve caught that Nig – and that bit of a twist from the horizontal – kudos – - – the thing about knowing the risen savior is that in no way is that relationship mundane or brooding as U’ve so brilliantly captured here with the “Old School” almost Druidic feel – - – rising damp – disinterested locals – sadly the unsaved sitting in darkness going through the motions by rote – - – rather than being part of a dynamic, living, caring relationship with the Son of the Living God! Nigel – U R the man! Ur hands pilot the magic camera that condenses and captures the thousand words – - – Great Piece of Work! ~:0) VivaChas!
Wow, thanks very much Chas. I actually love churches, ecpecially the really old ones. I live near the oldest wooden church in Britain and it has such a great atmosphere. There is a knight buried in the graveyard from The Crusades !!
Love it….. Slightly askew, well composed…. Great job!!
Thanks very much John, the shadows are what interested me, I wanted to capture their contrast rather than just some church steps.
The shadows create great patterns in this excellent capture!!! Bill
