An image of Cheddar Gorge, turned into cake. Why? I like cake and this one is my 48th birthday cake. Besides I thought cheese was a bit too obvious.
Nikon D60 with Sigma 10-20 zoom for Cheddar Gorge and Nikon D3100 with Tamron 60mm Macro for cake.

These are the two donor images which are both RAW files. I took the image of the cake in my kitchen with a light shining from the same angle as the sun at Cheddar Gorge. I took slices of the cake and matched them to the contours of the rock face, making sure I followed the light and shade of the original photo. I allowed some of the texture from the rocks to show through using layers. All put together in CS3 and enhanced with Color Efex filters.

My main interests are landscape, wildlife and sports events.
I use a Nikon D40X, a Nikon D60 and a Nikon D3100.
The lenses are either Nikkor or Sigma or a Tamron 60mm Macro. I also have a small collection of vintage cameras.
I hope you enjoy my photography and keep coming back for more, as I am constantly working to increase my portfolio.
