Curious Mermaid (Graphite & Colored Pastel Chalk) by NicoleH
Final version of this piece.
I drew this on Strathmore Artagain (400 series) colored paper in a blue-gray tone. I began by drawing it out completely with graphite and white pastel chalk to establish the values. I then lightly shaded with colored pastel chalk over the graphite.
