Light Streaming Through Redwoods by

This small grove of Californian redwoods was planted in the Otway National Park in the 1930s. Although I’ve seen bigger sequoias in the States, these are just as majestic. You walk through a small opening among the drooping branches and enter an enchanted forest of peace and awe.

About Nicole a Alley

I am a photographer, a writer, a seeker of whimsy, wisdom and beauty in the everyday. I aim to live from my heart, not my head, and look beyond the surface of life.

From the otherworldly landscape of a flower seen through my macro lens, to the beauty of a tree stump, to a surprisingly profound piece of graffiti scrawled on the wall of a bus, I point my lens at whatever captures my heart.
