December Eve

December Eve belongs to the following groups:

All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical

The first night it was cold enough
To see my breath
Rhythmically exhaled from the emptiness
Suspended before me
And then
Gone

Disappearing into the delicate cradle of chaos
Woven of age old voices
and the fraying threads of creation

A midnight wish
Freed to explore
The sprawling design of the stars

And that wish
Delivered with great anticipation and hope
Falls brilliantly back through the atmosphere
Hitting the earth

Thank you so much Hayley, I often joke that the happy things in life aren’t very inspiring. . .the truth is, I love the darker side of things and just find them more interesting to explore. . .
