Nick Tsiatinis

I’ve been into this photography lark since the end of 2008 now – it’s good fun, isn’t it! Originally starting off with an Olympus E-420 and no idea whatsoever, I’ve now graduated to a Canon 5D Mark II, a lusting for ‘L’ lenses, and still not much of a clue ;) (If you’re one of my wedding bookings then I don’t mean it – I really do know what I’m doing… honest!)

In the time I’ve been ‘togging’ I have been fortunate enough to have had a photo ‘published’ on the BBC News website and a few mentions (and a prize win) on another website. I’ve also been published in Digital Photo and Practical Photography magazines as part of their ‘Photographer of the Year’ competition, been published in Amateur Photographer in their ‘Photographer of the Year’ competition, been shortlisted and commended in various rounds of the ‘Leicestershire Through a Lens’ competition and had a 6 page spread in Digital SLR Photography in the May 2011 issue as part of their ‘One Hour Photo’ feature. Phew!

My passion lies with landscapes and scenery, although I’m now starting to gain an appreciation for portraiture – something I never thought I’d get in to when I first started out.
