Echuca warf was the hub of the river trade over 100 years ago.
It stands on the banks of the Murray river which flows through 3 states of Australia.
From there goods were delivered by rail directly to Melbourne and then by steamer to England.
An imposing structure that has withstood many a flood but declined in importance as rail and road trade became more established.
At the start of another day, with the mist rising, you can be transported back to it’s bussling earlier years.
