Doesn’t it look imposing from that angle? -The sky is fabulous too and I’m sure going B&W helped draw out the depth of pattern in it. Great shot.

  • Nicholas Richa... replied

Thanks for the kind words and insight. Yep, imposing was what I was hoping for with the PP I did and the B&W did help a lot with achieving that.

    way pro angle

  • Nicholas Richa... replied

Thank you so much for adding this to your favorites and for the kind praise. I actually took this with my father’s nearly 10 year old 2MP Kodak as my camera was out of action. In fact, all my London images are from that camera. This time when I’m in the UK at Xmas I’ll have my Nikon but I wonder if I’ll be able to top these!

London’s very cool. I usually return to the UK every couple of years, but that trip was the first time I’d been around London doing the tourist thing (because my wife was going for the first time ever) in a good few years. You should really go if you ever get the chance, if only for all the photo ops! Thanks again for the kind words.

Oh wow, what an amazing photo! I love the B&W, and how there seems to be a white “glow” outlining the subject. The sky looks beautiful as well. Congrats on such a wonderful capture.

  • Nicholas Richa... replied

Thank you. The sky was brilliant, so I was very lucky. Just needed to bring out the contrast in it a bit.

Stunning! Love the wispy cloud bits, makes it look quite sinister.

  • Nicholas Richa... replied

That’s what I was hoping for in bringing out the contrast in the clouds against the sky. Thank you for all your kind comments, Karen.
