I saw this tree up against the cinema wall and thought ah hah!

Merit at NEPG camera club competition, and members’ Choice (mono)

Leica M9, 50mm noctilux lens, ISO 400, f/2.8, 1/4000 sec, a little cropping, cloning and processing in Silver Efex pro

Feeling satisfied with a new photograph … that makes it a good day.

    Excellent processing Nadine, but I rather like the original photo just as well. It has some beautiful tones which that white wall extenuates. I think it’d be great if you just cloned out the H&R sign and the diagonal lines at top right.
