this wonderfully delicate flower only appears for one week in July here in Perth, WA and I almost missed them this year – got the last bunch at my favorite florists (the only place I’ve ever seen them). And then was too ill to photograph them right away. i managed to capture this in late afternoon light before they faded altogether.
