The Old and the New

On the old front: I have been busy updating my site, replacing older jpg’s of older works with higher-resolution photos. This means there will be more opportunities now to order items such as posters, as well as cards and prints etc.

To say nothing of tote bags etc. Please contact me if you have an interest in seeing any item of mine as a duvet and it shall be done.

I have also reintroduced new and better photos of older works that did not come out quite so well now.

There are also several new, smaller pieces to view and I have also created some brand new calendars of these.

So enjoy, as Christmas approaches.

Updating on current projects!

Who is either visiting, or is based in, Budapest Hungary?
Well anyway, I currently have several pieces, alongside smaller compositions on card, at KAZI30 at Kazinszky Utca 30 Budapest Hungary, organised by the Ferdinand Galéria: here is the Facebook link:
I am also showing two pieces at a mixed travelling show titled ‘A jótékonyság jó’ – most recently, the exhibition has been reopened at Szentendre and is intended to raise money for the damage created by the flooding of the Danube in spring 2013. My Blurb publications: new book and updates to old ones!

Hi. For those of you who have enjoyed my calendars andartworks posted here, I would like to draw your attention to my bookstore at!
I have put together a new book of my most recent mixed-media collage paintings in gold, copper and silver on paper, called ‘Golden Days.’
I have also revised and updated my two earlier publications, showing my mixed-media pieces and earleir paper collages respectively, called Vistas and Journey of the Pearl.
Please do check these out here!

My new calendar

This series represents a bit of a departure from my old style. This is a series of abstract mix-media pieces on paper, using gold paint, and occasionally copper and silver paint too, with gold paper, either torn or cut into shapes and patterns:

The inspiration for these new works actually began with my creating a booklet for The Sketchbool Project, in which I also worked with gold and silver paints that use orange oil as a base, onto which I could create more and more dense textures reminiscent of layers of memory

This exhibition is based on an open workshop, in which I participated. There, members translated participants’ traditional artworks to our respective favorite medium and style, as traditional, photographic, or digital art.

Non members, as well as members, ARE welcome to view all of the work on show. So I hope that you will click the show banner, above, and follow the link to view my fellow exhibitors. The works are shown “gallery size” and are beautiful, seen together. Each t
