Sunday's Gift

Eyes of a Child

And when he becomes a man
Burdened by the trappings of wisdom
May he find balance in this such solitude
Transfixed in intense fascination
By miniscule wonders
To fix his gaze one stolen moment
Again
Through the curious eyes of a child

~L. A. Walker

Wonderful and thoughtful representation. It makes you wonder about a child like this, is he in wonderment at the motion of the fountain waters, is he sad about something and lost in thought.. he could be happy, he could be sad.. But it does make one think.
