I love these apes and am planing a calender with watercolor paintings of endangerd animals and primates.
Der Orang Utan ist eins meiner meist geliebten Primaten. Sie stehen auf der Roten Liste von bedrohte Tierarten.
Ich plane einen Kalender mit Aquarelle,welches darauf aufmerksam machen soll, über das Schicksal dieser Tiere.
Orangutans are the most intellegent primates. They live in the rainforrests on the islands of Borneo and Sumatra. There are only 2 surviving species, both endangerd.
The word ORANGUTAN comes from Malay.
“Orang” (man) and “(h) utan” (forrest) hence

Since I have also found the interest of taking photos, my life has opened a new door of acknowledging the beauty of nature around me.
