Beautiful Day
I took this picture from the Seagate Dock in Port Hardy this summer past. It was one of the many beautiful days. Port Hardy is the most northern town on Vancouver Island, BC Canada. The bay was full of pink salmon and people were catching them like crazy from the docks.

Do you have trout up there?

Yes, we do! I know people who fish the rivers for them but I have only seen one in 16 years! I haven’t in 16 yrs. haven’t had the opportunity to go trout fishing, but when I lived in Newfoundland, as a teenager I used to trout fish all the time. One of my favorite fish to eat too!! :)

Port Hardy Bay is one of the most beautiful bay’s I have ever seen! I have seen this bay at it’s best and it’s worst!! On one of it’s worst, I have seen boats completely cross the mouth of the bay to head in. Winds so strong almost take you off your feet. But, when the weather is nice, it’s like paradise!!Thank you my friend for visiting and leaving me a comment!! Hugs!!

Lots of kids sit on this dock for hours on end with their hooks out! The wharf that you see here is extensions that the town only put out in the summertime. Lots of yachts and small boats on the go. Lots of tourist visit our little town, they come to fish mostly! Thank you for the wonderful comment, Al!! Appreciate it very much.

It will certainly be highlighted, I would love to be able to be there with some of my eagle pictures!! :) Watching the news the other night, lots of people from BC are booking their holidays around the time of the games! Going to lots of congestion on the roads and security is going to be very tight !! Fingers crossed, that something don’t go wrong. They are worried about a terrorist attack!
