On The Rocks
I was driving along the waterfront this evening and I saw about 10 eagles on the beach munching on some fish that washed ashore.The waterfront in Port Hardy, BC on the northern tip of Vancouver Island. Naturally I had to stop and check it out..got a few nice shots and this was one. Edited with Photoshop and ACDSee programs.

beautiful birds indeed, we rarely see them inland near whistler and in squamish they are there only for a few months, haven’t had much luck shooting these guys

Oh wow! We have a eagle programme nearby and got a kick just seeing one 30 feet above me when out running. This is just fantastic.

Thank you very much for looking through my pictures! At my workplace in March, April & May they are very plentiful, it’s mating season for them. I counted one day, in the tress and sky, 50 eagles.
